The TPC Racing Methanol Injection kit comes with a controller to control the rate at which the methanol is sprayed. The TPC Racing ECU tuning file allows the methanol to come in on a load demand basis so that the methanol is coming in at a smooth rate. The controller also allows you to turn off the methanol injection all together when you do not wish to spray.

The methanol also acts as a cooling device. Methanol helps to reduce intake air temperatures, which reduces the risk of detonation under a high temperature condition.

Performance

The TPC Racing Methanol Injection Kit offers power as well as efficiency. You can run your car on pump fuel (91 or 93 octane) and with the methanol spray, the octane level will be equivalent to 110 or 112 octane. We have seen a 60whp increase on our TPC Racing turbo charged cars with the TPC Racing Methanol Injection Kit on cars running 93 octane and pure methanol (M1).

Safety

The TPC Racing Methanol Injection offers an off switch where most other systems on the market do not. The system also features LED lights for the dash to indicate that the system is armed and also that the system is low. If the system is low, the methanol system must be turned off to avoid damage to the high pressure pump and engine. We suggest checking your methanol level when filling the car with fuel.
