Refunds & Returns

Please be advised that all refunds, cancellations, and returns may be subject to a processing fee. As a company, we take these requests seriously and kindly ask that you keep this in mind when purchasing with us. Unlike more giant corporations such as Amazon, we are a minor team with no resources to dedicate a separate staff to handle refunds and returns. As such, this process can be time-consuming and take away from other essential tasks. Should you receive a damaged product, please do not hesitate to contact us for a replacement. We highly encourage you to make your purchase confidently and contact our team via email at sales@germanmuscle.co or by phone at 480-569-3402 with any questions or concerns.

1. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless your purchased item is defective. If you receive a defective item, please get in touch with us at Sales@GermanMuscle.co with details of the product and the defect.

2. Exchanges

We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. If you consider a product defective, you should promptly contact us at Sales@GermanMuscle.co with details of the product and the defect.

3. Refusal of Delivery

Please do NOT refuse delivery under any circumstance. If there are any issues with the condition of your package or order, please email us at Sales@GermanMuscle.co. We are not responsible for any packages lost or damaged in shipment via refusal.

BACKORDER POLICY

Please note that German Muscle does NOT offer Live Inventory for products listed on our website. This is noted at the bottom of our website.

If you need a specific product for definitive dates, please get in touch with us via email – Sales@germanmuscle.co to verify the availability of the products you wish to purchase. All rushed or urgent orders should be completed directly with our sales team over the phone or by email to ensure no delays in processing and shipping your order. Please note we will not cover the cost of express or expedited shipping to meet your deadlines; you bear all costs associated with express or expedited shipping.

Due to the nature of the automotive industry and the fact that we offer thousands of items from hundreds of different manufacturers and distributors, we cannot display live inventory. Some items ship directly from our Arizona warehouse, whereas others may ship directly from the manufacturer or distribution warehouse. 

When an item is found to be on back order with the manufacturer, our crew will do their best to notify you via the email address on your order. Note that some manufacturers are better at notifying us than others. We will make every effort to follow up with you regarding your order. 

HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT

For all customers that start the chargeback process, WE WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY.

We do not have time for chargeback customers; here at German Muscle, it is 100% of our responsibility to provide you with the best customer service possible while delivering your automotive parts promptly. If you feel like our service has become unsatisfactory, please give us a call at 480 569 3402 so we can mend any issues over the phone. Again, we are honest and reasonable people who want you to have the largest possible smile.

DEAR ALL BODY KIT AND CARBON FIBER CUSTOMERS, IF YOU AGREE TO OUR “NO REFUND” CLAUSE, we will send this information to your bank if you file a chargeback. PLEASE BE 100% CONFIDENT when purchasing large items that are extremely hard to stop production on once started.

You can call us at 480-569-3402. Returns must be initiated within 14 days from the purchase date. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which is required to process your return.  Products (including packaging) must be returned in a new, resalable condition.  Some products can’t be returned – see the list of non-returnable products below.

Orders fully or partially paid for with Affirm financing are only eligible for return if an RMA number is issued within 14 days of the order being placed, regardless of when the order was shipped by German Muscle or received by the customer.

If we send you a different product from the one you ordered or a defective item, please contact us using the information above within 14 days from the purchase date.  We will replace the product and process your return at no charge.  If you need to return an item for any other reason, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.  Please check all merchandise for damage or defects when you receive your order before the item is used or installed.

If a replacement product is sent to you, we will send you a UPS Return tag to return the incorrect/defective product to us.  Otherwise, when shipping an item back to us, we recommend using a shipping method that offers signature confirmation, tracking, and insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Please note that replacement orders will be canceled if there is no movement on the return label within 10 business days of being created.

In the event of a defect that occurs outside our return policy but within the manufacturer’s warranty, please get in touch with the manufacturer directly to process your return.  The manufacturer will have sole determination of the outcome of the claim.

If your return has not been processed within three weeks, please get in touch with us to check your return’s status.

RETURNS POLICY

For orders shipping to the United States, returns will only be accepted within 14 days from the purchase date and ONLY if a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been issued. German Muscle reserves the right to refuse any package returned to us without authorization. Returns will be processed within ten (10) business days of receipt (not including weekends, holidays, and the day the package is delivered). Refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment. If the original form of payment is no longer valid, the refund will be issued as store credit applied to your German Muscle account. Store credit is not redeemable for cash.

Orders fully or partially paid for with Affirm financing are only eligible for return if an RMA number is issued within 14 days of the order being placed, regardless of when the order was shipped by German Muscle or received by the customer.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges unless they receive an incorrect (we shipped the wrong product) or defective item.

When shipping an item back to us, we recommend that you use UPS, FedEx, or any other carrier that offers signature confirmation and insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Only the signature of a German Muscle employee will suffice as proof of delivery. The customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss during return shipment.

We will not accept a return of an item that is damaged or defective if it has been used/installed. Please inspect all orders as soon as you receive them.

If the product is damaged during shipment, German Muscle will replace the product at no charge.

If a replacement product is sent, we will send you a UPS return tag to return the product to us. If the original item is not returned within 30 days, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement item that was sent.

If any component of the returned product is missing, we reserve the right to reject the entire return or impose additional charges for replacing the missing component(s). The condition of the product will be determined at our discretion. Products returned with damaged or missing packaging will be refused or returned to you at your expense. Certain items cannot be returned. Please see “Non-Returnable Products” below for a list of those products.

Installation costs will not be covered by German Muscle for any returned product.

German Muscle reserves the right to change or amend the return policy and procedures without notification.

For international orders shipping outside the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada – All sales are final for international orders, and no returns are allowed.  

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

For orders shipping to the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada, If you receive a defective product, please contact us within our 30-day return policy period, and we will process your return free of shipping charges. Contact us to process your return.

In the event of a defect that occurs outside our return policy but within the manufacturer’s warranty, please get in touch with the manufacturer directly to process your return. The manufacturer will have sole determination of the outcome of the claim. As a courtesy to our customers, German Muscle will gladly try to facilitate a thorough review of the claim. Still, we have no final say in the decision made by the manufacturer (i.e., approvals, denials, fees, etc.).

German Muscle is not responsible for any labor costs resulting from the installation of wrong or defective parts.

Some items may require pictures or a shop report to have an RMA issued. 

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

We try to prevent damage to all packages during transit by carefully packing each order. From time to time, though, the damage will occur despite our precautions.

If you receive an item damaged in shipping, please call us within 72 hours of receipt, and we will set up a UPS claim for the product. Once UPS has processed this claim, we will contact you to return the product and send out a replacement.

We may request pictures to further assist with the completion of the claim.

UPS will contact you after the claim has been filed over the phone; please provide a reliable contact number when setting up your damage claim.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS

Return a product without contacting our Returns Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. It will take up to 3 weeks to be processed, and we may charge you a 25% restocking fee at our discretion.

If your unauthorized return has not been processed within three weeks, please email Sales@germanmuscle.co.

UNDELIVERABLE OR REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Packages will be returned to us by the carrier if they cannot be delivered due to incomplete or incorrect addresses, are not picked up from a FedEx facility, or if the recipient refuses delivery. All packages returned to us for the above reasons can take up to 3 weeks to be processed. We may charge you a 25% restocking fee at our discretion.

For international orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada  – The return shipping costs of any refused or undeliverable shipment(s) outside of the United States or Canada may be deducted from any refund at German Muscle’s sole discretion.  

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Returns will not be accepted for any of the following items: 

ALL BACKORDER AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS, the following brands are INCLUDED in this NO REFUND OR RETURN POLICY (Unless defective, broken, and or bent in shipping)

  • Non-defective used or installed items.
  • Anderson Composites
  • Bootmod3 Tunes
  • Engines (short blocks, long blocks)
  • Fi Exhaust
  • German Muscle
  • German Muscle gift cards.
  • Catch Can Kits
  • Liquivinyl 
  • MBH Motorsports Exhausts
  • RW Carbon
  • Ryft Exhaust
  • CTS Turbo
  • ZL1 Addons parts that have had the protective film removed
  • ALL-WHEEL BRANDS
  • Any special order items purchased through customer invoices, emails, and phone calls.
  • Wheels that have had tires mounted on them. This includes wheels that German Muscle has mounted tires on. Both the wheels and tires are non-returnable.
  • Chips/Tuners.
  • ALL TUNE PRODUCTS / DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
  • Painted parts, including items the customer has painted and pre-painted parts purchased through German Muscle.
  • Any orders with protective coatings: Ceramic Pro, Clear bra, etc.
  • Any carbon fiber products.
  • ALL BODY PANELS/AERODYNAMIC AUTOMOTIVE PARTS AFTERMARKET AND OEM.

ALL freight shipments are not returnable.

International orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada are not returnable.

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

For orders shipping to United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada, We strongly suggest you call us at 480-576-8606 as soon as possible after placing your order if you need to change or cancel it, as we ship orders out quickly! If you email us, we may not receive them in time to stop the order from shipping out.  Please double-check that your order details are correct before submitting your order at the “Order Review” step of checkout.

An order that has already shipped cannot be canceled. Please contact us to set up a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) once your order has been received.

If you need to change the address on an order that has already been shipped via FedEx, please call us.  There will be a fee of $50 per package to reroute the order while in transit. Orders shipped via USPS cannot be changed while in transit.

For international orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO, or Canada – At this time, you may not make any changes or modifications to your order once it has been placed. Additionally, you may not cancel your order once it is placed.
