Both Standard and Fi PRO control system utilize OBD connection.The standard remote provides the 3 basic functions, including OPEN, CLOSE, and Auto valving (open automatically base on throttle, rpm, or boost level). To enable the Auto valving feature, the OBDII port must be connected.
The Fi PRO control/upgrade option has a different key fob. The main features are available on the Fi PRO app. They allow the driver to control the valves and do all the valve setting directly on a mobile phone. Without the OBD connected, only the basic ON/OFF function will be functional. The Auto valving, or cold start valve position (Fi PRO feature), will only be activated when the OBD is connected.
Does the standard remote option include the OBD dongle, handheld remotes, and an electrically control vacuum module to actuate the valves on the Fi mufflers?
Both Standard and Fi PRO control kit include OBD dongle, as both kits have the Auto valving feature that’s required to connect with the OBD port to read live data from the ECU. The control kit will include a module box to send signal to soleniod to allow the vacuum to pass to the flaps or not and to turn the valves on and off.
