This Performance Air Intake System allows your engine to breathe more air compared to the restrictive factory air intake housing. It is designed, tuned and dyno-tested to produce more horsepower and torque. Air enters the system from the factory fresh air inlets. through replacement air duct and into a roto-molded, aerodynamic AEM air box containing an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The cone shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). This Air Intake System is backed by AEM’s Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. We often recommend upgrading your OEM intake to a cold air intake as one of the first modification your should do to your car. Often the factory airbox is restricting, especially on older vehicles. Replacing your intake system with an aftermarket unit will increase intake noise, performance, and improve the overall driving experience.
